More Connection. More Personalized Care.
A Relationship-Centered Membership Practice Beginning January 1, 2027
Beginning January 1, 2027, TelefamilyDoc will become a membership-based medical practice for adults and families who value continuity, meaningful connection, comprehensive care, and a close relationship with their physician. From that date forward, care through TelefamilyDoc will be available only to enrolled members.
Led by Alex A. Mirabadi, MD, a board-certified family physician and geriatrician, the practice will provide thoughtful, relationship-centered care shaped by each patient's needs, with examinations and related communications not restricted by health-plan limits on duration, frequency, or scope.
My Story
I chose medicine because it allowed me to combine science, service, and lasting human relationships. Those values have guided me throughout my career and continue to shape how I care for patients and families.
After completing my Family Medicine residency at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, I pursued fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Since then, I have cared for patients in primary care practices, PACE programs, assisted-living communities, and their own homes. I am board-certified in both Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
These experiences taught me that excellent care is not simply about making the correct diagnosis or prescribing the right treatment. Patients and families also need a physician who listens carefully, understands the whole picture, explains choices clearly, works effectively with other clinicians, and remains present as health needs change. This is especially important for older adults and people living with multiple or complex medical conditions.
My goal has always been to treat each patient with the same care, patience, and attention I would want for a member of my own family.
